This portable multi-parameter meter of Hanna Instruments is able to measure pH, salinity, dissolved oxygen and temperature simultaneously.
The meter can display one to twelve parameters on the LCD with high contrast and backlight. The pH, EC and DO measurements are automatically compensated for temperature fluctuations. Resolved oxygen measurements are automatically compensated for barometric pressure and salinity. Context-specific on-screen help is immediately available at the touch of a button. The waterproof digital probe has a built-in temperature sensor and three ports for pH (ORP), EC and optical DO sensors, which are automatically recognized. The protective cover is made of stainless steel.

The HI98494 offers the possibility to connect wireless to a smart device with a smartphone or iPad through the Hanna Lap app. Logs can be emailed or downloaded using the app.
Logging
HI98494 can be used to log a single snapshot or to perform interval logging by continuous logging at a specified interval. All logs have the option to save data in a nameable file and the ability to add comments.
GLP data
GLP displays data from the last five calibrations. Calibration information is recorded along with time and date. Information includes calibration values, along with other values that affect the measurement. GLP data is stored with logged data.
Dual power source
The meter operates on a built-in lithium-ion battery. When the rechargeable battery is low, the meter automatically switches to 1.5 AA alkaline batteries.
Fast calibration
Quick Calibration provides a one-point calibration for pH, conductivity and dissolved oxygen. Standard calibration options are available, including pH up to three points, conductivity at one point, and dissolved oxygen up to two points.
Connections
The USB Type-C port allows for easy data transfer to a stick, PC or other compatible devices and is also used to charge the internal battery. The meter connects to the multi-parameter probe via a single waterproof connector making attaching and removing the probe quick and easy. The meter automatically detects the probe when it is connected.
